Prayas Foundation invites Donations for Supporting A Child.

Friends, so long Prayas Foundation has been focusing on Supporting Children in Education, Sports & Arts along with providing them Clothing, Food & Shelter. 

A recent incident made us realize suddenly that we need to keep funds arranged & ready for medical emergencies too. 

Recently a 8 year old little boy suddenly developed swelling on the left side of his face & was in tremendous pain. After a few tests & a Citi scan we were informed that the child had pus in his brain as a result of brain tumor. An operation was recommended immediately. 

I was informed by a few doctor friends whom i approached for a second opinion that the results were correct & the pre & post operation expenses would be equivalent to the operation expenses. Probably even more. As medication would be required regularly as well as some tests would be required at regular intervals to ensure that the tumor doesn't show up again. 

We somehow arranged for the money amongst ourselves & had the operation done this time. 

But we realized that we need to have a medical fund ready for such emergencies.
