What is Prayas Foundation, Thane? Why was it formed & What does it do?
Prayas Foundation was formed in the beginning of 2017 as Prayas Group.It was a group of ex players, Coaches, Artists & friends sharing similar interests. The Motto was very simple, to identify, groom, train & promote young talented Sports persons & artists at grassroots level & support them during their growth in whatever way possible. A special focus was on Girls/Women training & grooming as our women empowerment drive. When we started working on Social causes & Education as well, it was decided to register ourselves as an NGO & in such a way that we would have no limitations or area boundaries. So Prayas Foundation was registered as an National Level NGO with the Charity Commissioner office, Thane in August 2017. Regd - MAHA/1489/17/THANE
