If we agree on this we can then move ahead on this topic. If children are the future of our country, then it is our moral responsibility as mature citizens to ensure that there future is bright in all aspects.
Nothing better than starting at the grassroots. And yes, each one of us as responsible parents is trying to do this for our children.
But is it Enough? That is the question & it is yet unanswered.
The main reason being many children in our country are missing out on the basic needs of Food, Clothing & Shelter. Education, Sports, Arts or Music doesn't even cross their minds. Prayas Foundation from Thane, a registered Charitable society has started working on this level & category first.
Prayas Foundation team strongly believes that if you have to make a child's future then along with the basic necessities of Food, clothing & shelter the children have to be provided with good quality Education as well as proper training in the fields of Sports, Arts and Music as per their interest and choice.
There are many NGO's now in India who work on any one of these fields.
Here is what makes Prayas Foundation different from All these groups. Although based in Thane right now Prayas Foundation which has been registered as a Charitable society with the Charity Commissioner Office, Thane has no restrictions on its area of operations. It can work anywhere in India. So the scope to reach Underprivileged Children automatically increases not only in the state of Maharashtra but all across India.
Currently talks & Interviews are going on with our Volunteers in Pune, Nasik, Nagpur & other areas & hopefully Prayas Foundation will start operations in these areas soon too.
Prayas Foundation intends to work on children on all these fields with the help of experts, teachers & coaches who have joined us as Volunteers in this noble cause.
